We stock around 40 to 60 vehicles.

Brief History

We are a family run business, started up in 1990, we sell a vast range of used cars from £1995 to £29995. We also sell a variety of small to medium vans. Based at Horbury West Yorkshire we have traded from a few sites over the last 20 odd years but are now back 50yrds from where we began.

Why we were looking for new software

Initially we used stock books and a manual system. We then used an old dos based system for 15 years and although we were happy with it, as windows changed the system could not change with it. Next we tried a number of systems, all of which was too much like hard work, and we noticed they changed their pricing all the time, charging more and more as time went on. After an initial trial, we switched to Autosales Systems which is real easy to use and the support is first class, one phone call and they take over your computer and sort it. Easy Vat reports, stock lists, any reports you need, they provide.

Implementing the system

This was Seamless as Autosales did the whole installation for us remotely, all in a matter of minutes. We planned on running our old system along Autosales for 3 months to be safe but quickly realised we had nothing to worry about.


Training was great and done on a one to one basis over the phone. You don’t remember it all so they are always on the end of the phone to educate you.

Ongoing support

This is the real jewel in the crown, the service and back up that Autosales provides you with on an ongoing basis is first class.

What we like about Autosales

The fact you can log information and prospect your clients is great, and with being so easy to access too! Searching for previous customer invoices to make amendments or simply to double check something is also clear and simple.
